Info
Women in Public Spaces is an ongoing visual and research-based project that explores how gender navigates the built environment. Through photographs and field observations across cities like Raipur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai, the project documents the presence, absence, movement, and gestures of women in public settings. It functions as a growing archive and quiet inquiry into visibility, power, and everyday resistance—shared primarily via an Instagram platform. A curation from these have been shown in zine "From our place" by Womxn Mobility Project at City for All. They have also been used for an workshop by Studio Bottega.
