Jalsaghar

Jalsa Ghar is a feminist space-in-the-making in Patdi, Gujarat—co-created by Conflictorium and SWATI—imagined as a place of rest, expression, and political imagination for adolescent girls. Positioned somewhere between an adda and a refuge, it holds space for friendship, solitude, listening, and critical thought—shaped by the lived experiences of gender, caste, and class. The space invites films, conversations, and creative practices that nurture reflection and agency.
